David Handley |
Director |
Formerly a lawyer with a Masters of Law from London University, David established Bathtub Productions as an arts & film production and sales company while he was living in Prague in the early 1990s. After working in film production in New Zealand, David returned to Sydney to establish Sculpture by the Sea, with the idea of creating a major free to the public visual arts event for Sydney.

| Axel Arnott |
Head Curator |
Axel originally trained as a landscape architect and has worked in Australia and overseas on a range of landscape projects. In 1999 he took over the position of Site Manager to help out for a month or so with what was then a 3 day exhibition. Nine years later and he is now a devotee of Sculpture in all its forms. Sculpture by the Sea's varying exhibitions and projects offer the perfect marriage between the technical and artistic aspects of working with the landscape.
Often seen striding purposefully with a clipboard under his arm, Axel (aka Captain Issues) loves to have Bondi as his second office for a few months a year. "Off to the office..."
